The day before the Scarecrow Invasion

Scarecrow at FRIENDS AND FIBERS

Tomorrow is the Scarecrow Invasion in La Grange.  Already a few are showing up early.  What a fun time it will be this weekend.  We have the Scarecrow contest starting tomorrow and everyone can vote until Halloween.  They will announced winners in five categories.

This weekend is also the chill cook-off and parking lot sale at The Copper Awning on First St.  The dealers open deals at 8 am Saturday.  Chili starts cooking at 10 am, served at 11 am.

The Farmers and Artisans Market is open for another glorious Saturday - 8 am- 1 pm.

And Saturday is the Railroad Festival - music music and more music.  Children's soapbox train competition.  Cornhole Championship (think beanbag toss), more and more music.  You get to see the new dining car.  There is a train robbery and more.

This little lady was created by Debbie at RAINY DAYS.  Sue Ann, the
owner, is giving away a beautiful umbrella every days for the rest of the
month.  I won yesterday!!!

The very fashioned lady is haunting the information booth on Main Street

This jolly railroad worker is outside the new restaurant, RAILS.  Just opened and drawing crowds.

This ghoulishly handsome haunt is gracing the door of
One Nineteen West Main Street.
Stop by for their Kentucky Bacon Pie or their new Peanut Butter Pumpkin pie!
