Hard to believe it's Christmas Eve!!! I always loved this day more than Christmas. Christmas seemed rather anti-climatic. So many memories crowd in on me this day. Of times past...of dear people and friends and cherished pets lost. So many white Christmases when there are few anymore. That child's view of the magic of this day...
Life changes, and I am content here in my small Victorian town. But for this day, my thoughts swirl with images of those no longer here and hold dear those reflections.
