That's great! This is such a fantastic book! Very nice contest too!!! :)
Deborah, what a wonderful contest. I am intrigued by your book, The Invasion of Falgannon Isle. Is this isle a real place?
Life can be so hurried and stressful that the thought of enjoying some peace and quiet on a beautiful Scottish Isle is so down right appealing. I would have to take a note pad and pencils with me to capture the beauty of the isle on paper.
I wish you continued success. The offer on Amazon 20 Kindle for $2 is just amazing, too.

Sarah, Falgannon is not real, nor based on a single island. I needed an island where I could control the "world". I needed something small, that was controlled by one woman, an island living under an ancient curse. I used "bits" from several islands to "float" Falgannon for readers.
As long as I can remember I've been reading, watching, and loving books/movies set in Scotland. I think has to do with how the Scottish battled the English for their independence for centuries and never gave up. I've always admired people and cultures who have that sort of attitude. I imagine remote Scottish islands having some of that same stalwartness as Highlanders do. It may look bleak but even that has it's own stark beauty and honor. Plus I'm also a history buff and some of those islands have seen so much change over the millenia and just to stand where others have and see the same coastline and sea would be lovely.
Why the heck not-I-mean-with-braw-men-with-that-brogue-to-melt-a-lassies-knee-caps-and-make-her-mouth-water-and-heart-beat-rapid?! Can someone say, "Love a highlander?!" *swoons* Thank you for the space & allowing me my silly comment. Great book, btw. That's one that always remained a part of a fond memory and a permanent place on my TBR shelf. Would be better with a signature though.... *hugs* =D
0.o *sputters* What red-blooded lass wouldn't WANT to go where the men are braw, sometimes kilted, speak with an accent one would die to hear, in the dark, beside yer wee head in the middle of the night while the air you breathe in is laced with the fragrance of the sea mist?! (Besides, this book is one fine romance from beginning to end. A 'definite keeper' on that special shelf. *thinking* Better if your copy was signed, aye.... ;) ?!)
I would love to visit because it's such a beautiful, old, breathtaking country! The pace is slower, and people appreciate life and the land so much more! I love your books and have read them all many times! This was by far my favorite!

Jessica, this was originally set to be the third book in the series, but Lynsay Sands loved it (Notice her quote on the book :-D) and said I should try to sell it first. I listened, and it sold. I really loved my islanders, The Cat Dudley, and of course, BA and Des. Glad that others do, too. Thank you!
I can't wait to read this! :) The whole prize pack looks awesome *fingers crossed*
I would LOVE to visit Scotland, I've seen so many pretty pictures and heard such great things that I'd love to see and experience it for myself!
Scotland has been one of the places I have wanted to visit ever since I can remember. The country is beautiful so an island off the coast would be heaven. I guess I'll have to read your book to get my little piece of heaven. Thanks.
I think Scotland has one of the most breathtaking scenery and the folklore is so intriguing.

I wish I'd come here earlier! I bought this took in Feb. and now have the next 2. I'm nearly done with "Wolf" and anxious for more. With that huge family there surely are more stories coming. Someone has to pair up with Julian!
I apologize for not announcing a winner yet. Thinks have been rather hectic of late.
I will put all the names in the hat and pull one later today and announced my Tea and Jam winner on Friday....
Thanks for commenting!!
