Scarecrow Invasion!!! La Grange kicks off a two day festival on a perfect weekend

Candy did two Scarecrows for SERENDIPITY.  The first was Stephen King's Pennywise.
Surely clowns scare everyone!

She also did Fashion Kitty.  Pennywise was entered in the Whimsical category.  LadyB Fashion Kitty was entered in the Fashion Category...well, naturally...lol

Debbie at RAINY DAY RESALE put her Steampunk Scarecrow into a autumn display.

POSH evening wear put a trio of Scarecrows out!

Mercantile on Main did one.  High Fashion, I assume.

GALLERY 104 did this one.
They have a HUGE one, but it was too dark to get a good shot of him.
I will catch him Saturday when the Railroad Festival is in full swing.

To kick off the Scarecrow Invasion and Railroad Festival, COFFEE JAM played from 6:30 pm- 8 pm.  Excellent Blue Grass band.  They drew a large crowd that really enjoyed the Twilight on the Court House lawn.  A food court was set up on 2nd St, and the restaurants into were doing a heavy business - Serendipity, Rails and One Nineteen West Main.  There were people from Michigan, Illinois and New Jersey in town for the two day festival.

Candy sitting on the comfortable bend, enjoying the music, the crowd and a french fry.
I think she is a Kentucky Lass now.
